Chicken Noodle Soup– Costs $10 per meal kit

INGREDIENTS: 

  • Chicken breast or Canned chicken

  • Egg noodles

  • Mixed veggies

  • Garlic minced

  • Chicken broth/stock/bouillon cubes

  • Olive oil

  • Salt & Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS: 

1.      In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, carrots, and celery, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

2.      Add chicken breasts or canned chicken and pour in the chicken broth.  Bring it to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the chicken is cooked through (about 15-20 minutes for the raw chicken: 2 minutes for canned).

3.      Remove chicken from the pot, shred or dice it, and return it to the soup.

4.      Add the noodles and simmer according to package instructions until tender (usually 6-8 minutes).

5.      Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving if desired.

Spaghetti and Meatballs – Costs $10 per meal kit

INGREDIENTS: 

  • Spaghetti noodles 

  • Marinara or tomato sauce 

  • meatballs (optional) 

  • Olive oil 

  • Salt 

  • Parmesan cheese (for serving) 

  • Fresh basil or parsley (optional, for garnish) 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  1. Bring 4 quarts of water and 1 tablespoon of salt to a boil in a large pot. Add the spaghetti noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, then drain excess fat if needed. 

  3. Add marinara or tomato sauce to the skillet with the cooked meat. Simmer for 5-10 minutes to combine flavors. If not using meat, simply heat the sauce in a saucepan. 

  4. Toss the cooked spaghetti noodles with the sauce until well coated. 

  5. Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil or parsley, if desired. 

Specialty cake kit – Costs $10 per kit

INGREDIENTS:

  •          Cake mix

  •          Apple Sauce

  •          Frosting

  •          Gel frosting

  •          Sprinkles

  •          Candles

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.      Turn your oven to three fifty Fahrenheit.

2.      Grease your pan with butter, then add a little flour—shake it around.

3.      Mix the batter with half cup of applesauce until there are no lumps left.

4.      Pour into pan, bake twenty to twenty-five minutes.

5.      Check middle with toothpick; if clean, pull it out.

6.      Cool cake for ten minutes, then flip onto plate.

7.      Slather on the frosting.

8.      Write something nice with gel.

9.      Top with sprinkles.

10. Add candles and light.
